The director general added that the committees would determine the structure of government down to the level of deputy ministers, governor-generals and ambassadors.
He further announced that the Iran Specialists Association is due to hold the country’s first great presidential congress after the Islamic Revolution in late February.
“Our presidential candidates will announce their stances in the congress, to be attended by 12 thousand people, and we will finally reach a consensus over our preferred candidate at the same day,” he stated.
The presidential election will be held in May or June next year. The Interior Ministry and the Guardian Council have not yet reached an agreement on the exact date of the election.
